During the summer of 2020, I got my first internship opportunity as an Experience Design Intern at HumanX - a leading Design Agency based in Mumbai. One of the ongoing projects at HumanX I joined was the design revamp of the SBI Mutual Funds Website.
Let's admit, Mutual Funds are scary! (At least was for me 😛) But*,* it's not all bad. The potential long-term benefits of investing in Mutual Funds are numerous. These long-term goals often comprise Retirement Planning, Child's Education, and many other lumpsum investments which need to be planned as early as possible. However, finding the right Fund to invest in is difficult. Dozens of factors are involved in ensuring the success of an investment. These include:
risk profile
past performance
scheme objectives
fund managers
Each and every factor has its own significance. That's where a Scheme info page comes in. The primary goal of a Scheme Info page is to convey all the necessary data and analytics of a particular Fund, while simultaneously educating the user to make a rational decision before investing.
Throughout this project, I worked closely with my project managers, did the necessary research, competitive analysis of other Mutual Fund platforms in order to redesign SBIMF's Scheme Info page. Let's Begin😁
